This section of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine (PDM) presents a report and summary of a session at the 18th World Congress on Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WCDEM) held in Manchester, UK in May of 2013. Additional reports and summaries were published in PDM (Volume 28, No. 6).
