The Proceedings contain papers on a range of aeronautical subjects from aircraft design, engineering and science to civil aviation, piloting, arial photography and history, together with news from the Institute, later renamed the Institution of Aeronautical Engineers. The publication was replaced by the Journal of the Institution of Aeronautical Engineers in 1927. The Institution amalgamated with the Royal Aeronautical Society later in the same year.
