Cambridge Journals Director, Simon Ross said of the new venture: “this is a new venture for us and we’re excited about the possibilities that are opening up by providing our online publishing service to other publishers.
"The experience of working so closely with another commercial journals publisher also gives us a whole new set of insights into how we might further develop Cambridge Journals Online to the benefit of the academic community.”
NecPlus founder, Jean-Louis Soubret commented: “The agreement between Cambridge University Press and NecPlus offers a real opportunity for any leading French academic journals which want to be part of it.
"Better indexing contributes to better integration and visibility in the international network. In addition, users experience world-class services and an extensive range of customisable features on the online platform. This deal between an international press and a local publisher brings the best of both worlds to the French HSS community.”
