Cambridge-Hitachi are proud to sponsor The London Student Awards

In 2003 the Government launched the London Challenge – a five year strategy to break the link between deprivation and low attainment in the capital’s maintained secondary schools.

As part of the ‘Celebrating Achievement’ campaign launched on 19th January 2006 Cambridge-Hitachi has joined with Hitachi Interactive Solutions and the DfES to provide a ‘money can’t buy’ prize for the student awards.

The Hitachi Interactive Solutions award gives a student the chance to work in the Cambridge-Hitachi offices on a programming project. Mila Rendle, Operations Director, said “Cambridge-Hitachi is one of the leading providers of high quality software to UK schools and we are delighted to support this initiative and the ICT award. Were offering a unique opportunity for our winner to come behind-the-scenes, meet our teams and experience all the many aspects that go into developing exciting and creative software for use on interactive whiteboards.”
