Summary
[H]e had lived 16 or 17 years beyond the sea in France and Italy after ye King was restored, and seem'd resolved never to come back, but his father being very old he pretends a desire for to see him, and he obtained an Intercession from ye Court of France, and upon his promise not to meddle with ye Government he was suffered to come over.
