Banner title. The New world advertises Rosenberger's German Magnetic Oil, available from Dr. G.T. Taft & Co.; and D. Skidmore & Co.'s Renovo for the restoration of hair. A second printing at bottom of leaf [1] recto provides the name of a retailer for these products: A.M. Anderson & Co., Dansville, N.Y. The G.T. Taft who published this circular may be Gilbert T. Taft (d. 1885) of Dr. Taft Brothers, a proprietary medicine firm that later operated in Rochester, N.Y. (see annotation to #3412).

The directions provided rail travelers along the routes described in this guide are also given information on health resorts and mineral springs along the way. Series: Taintor's route and city guides. The Atwater copy is lacking the first map.
