Two contracts between the colonists settling in Belovezh, and Premier–Major Jacob Freyhold on behalf of the President of the Little Russian College. Signed in Strelna, outside Petersburg; undated. (The Belovezh colonies were set up in 1766.)
The colony was to include an agricultural and an urban or artisan settlement; the first contract (no. 48) was made with the farmers, the second with the artisans. The texts are in large part very similar. Italics in the text indicates words written in Latin script and slightly larger than the Gothic script of the remainder.
