September 6, sunny, cold: Arrived Tacoma at 7:30 A.M. Visited Mt. Rainier National Park. Slept on the train.
September 7, sunny, cold: Returned to Tacoma at 2:00 P.M. Visited Tacoma Chamber of Commerce. Lodgings at Hotel Tacoma.
September 8, partially sunny, cold: Visited lumber mill and other locations. Departed Tacoma late at night. Slept on the train.
September 9, sunny: Arrived Portland early morning. Toured sights of the city. Lodgings at Portland Hotel.
September 10, rainy, cold: Visited the nearby town of Vancouver. Departed at 4:30 P.M. Slept on the train.
