Summary

Where individual songs comprising or relating to one opus number were written at approximately the same time, they are listed in numerical order. Where their true order of composition differs from this, exact dates (where known) are to be found in the main text.

ES – Efterladte Sange (Posthumous Songs), published in two volumes in 1908. Songs which remained unpublished until their appearance in the GGA are given their EG number in the first column, signifying their publication in volume 15 of C. F. Peters’ Grieg Gesamt-Ausgabe (1991)
