Summary
Vulvodynia is a chronic painful condition with dramatic adverse effects on quality of life. A complex syndrome, it poses a diagnostic challenge for which interdisciplinary skills in several fields (vulvology, neurobiology, algology, psychology, sexology) are required. This chapter provides clinicians with an updated overview for correct diagnosis and management of vulvodynia in clinical practice.
