Summary
Who Wrote the Bible? That is the question taken on in the best-selling book bearing this title. Its author, Richard Elliott Friedman, argues that the most extensive source in the biblical narrative was written either by the prophet Jeremiah or his scribal secretary, Baruch ben Neriah, or both working in tandem (see introduction to Chapter 25).
