Book description

Originally published in 1955, this volume incorporates the substance of the Gregynog Lectures delivered at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth during the Session 1952–3. Chapters are included on the following figures: Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester; Sir John Fastolf; Thomas Hoccleve; Margaret Paston; Margery Kempe; Richard Bradwater. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in British history and the fifteenth century.
