Abstract

The requirements imposed on the standards and samples used for any analytical technique are determined by the sample utilization characteristics of each technique as well as the purpose of the analysis. A practical comparison of said sample utilization characteristics for several analytical techniques will be examined to define limitations imposed on the standards/sampling aspects of analysis.
