Does fish oil really help heart disease?

In a nutshell

Experts have recently differed on whether the RCT evidence supports the idea that Ω:3 fats protect against CV disease.

The main conclusion from analysing these differences is that further trials of good size and undisputed methodological quality are required. In the meanwhile, existing guidelines encouraging fish consumption still hold up.
