Note

1 John F. Carrington's address is given as “Universite Libre de la Republique de Zaire, Kisangani, Zaire.” To begin with, Universite Libre du Congo where Carrington was teaching ceased to exist since 1971 with the creation of the Universite National du Zaire. By 1972, Carrington was no longer in Kisangani or related to the new university; Another out of date address is that of G. Kubik which should be: Burghardtgasse 6/9 - A-1200, Vienna (Austria); It is strange to note that Benoit Quersin is not even identified with the Institut des Musees Nationaux du Zaire where he has been the head of the Musicology Department since 1973.
