Special Issue - Nutrition & Cancer
Cancer is increasing worldwide.
Patterns of cancer are also changing. The evidence is summarised in the 2018 World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research report Diet, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Cancer: a Global Perspective. Nutrition can influence key cellular and molecular processes that characterise cancer. In this issue we look at both the prevention and survival of cancer in relation to Nutrition, and where future research is needed to generate change.
We would like to share with you this Special Issue on Nutrition and Cancer published in British Journal of Nutrition below. Please also find a short abstract animation below based on a published paper in this special issue that looks at how plant-based diets could improve survival among women with colorectal cancer.
