The editorial staff of Business and Politics would like to welcome special issue proposals as the journal prepares for the 2023 publication year.  Business and Politics has been publishing special issues about once a year, with recent topics including the U.S.-China Trade War and Clean Energy Transitions. The editorial staff would like to continue this practice, as it allows for the journal to expand its substantive focus and include prominent guest editors in the publication process.

To submit a special issue proposal, please send a 1-2 page document to the BAP Managing Editor, Margaret Kenney (Margaret_kenney@berkeley.edu). This document should include: (a) the proposed title, (b) the names of the proposed guest editor(s), (c) a brief summary of the topic and the types of papers / questions that would be welcome in the context of the special issue.
