In lines 9–10 of the fifth page of this article, the parentheses ‘(the brothel-prostitute)’ and ‘(the matrona)’ should be interchanged. The sentence should therefore read: ‘Bearing in mind that one of these extremes (the matrona) is therefore practically forbidden and the other (the brothel-prostitute) demonstrably accessible …’
