A NOTE ON DICHROOSCYTUS ELEGANS, WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF FOUR NEW SPECIES FROM NEW MEXICO AND TEXAS (HETEROPTERA: MIRIDAE)

Abstract

Dichrooscytus elegans Uhler is redescribed and its status discussed. Four new species of Dichrooscytus are described: minutus, flagitiosus, and taosensis from New Mexico, and texanus from Texas. Male genitalia of the species are illustrated, host plants are given, and relationships to other species in the genus are discussed.
