A Primitive New Species of Kristotomus Mason (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)

Abstract

Kristotomus simplex is described from Japan. It is the most primitive member of its genus and appears closely related to Orthomiscus Mason. A key is given to distinguish the Japanese species of Kristotomus, Orthomiscus, Kerrichia, and closely related forms.
