Abstract

Adults of Uchidastygacarus (s.s.) acadiensis n. sp. are described from specimens collected from gravel and sand bars in streams in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada. Comments on the distribution of mites of the genus are presented.

Résumé

Le stade adulte d'Uchidastygacarus (s.s.) acadiensis n. sp. a été décrit à partir de spécimens recueillis dans les bancs de sable et de gravier des cours d'eau des provinces de l'Atlantique. Suivent des remarques sur la distribution des acariens du genre.
