A NEW GENUS AND THREE NEW SPECIES OF APHIDS (HOMOPTERA: APHIDIDAE) FROM NORTH-WEST INDIA

Abstract

Periphyllus pusillus n. sp. from Acer villosum Wall., Serratocallis takahashii n. gen., n. sp. from Quercus sp., and Myzocallis (Hoplocallis) microsetosus n. sp. from Quercus incana Roxb., collected in the Western Himalayas, are described. The taxonomic position of the aphids is discussed.

Résumé

Les auteurs décrivent Periphyllus pusillus n. sp. sur Acer villosum Wall., Serratocallis takahashii n. gen., n. sp. sur Quercus sp. and Myzocallis (Hoplocallis) miscrosetosus n. sp. sur Quercus incana Roxb., collectionnés dans les Himalayas de l’ouest. La position taxonomique de ces pucerons est mentionnée.
