A NEW GENUS AND TWO NEW PHLOEOCHARINE SPECIES FROM THE PACIFIC COAST OF NORTH AMERICA (COLEOPTERA: STAPHYLINIDAE)

Abstract

A new genus and two new species of Phloeocharinae are described and illustrated: Dytoscotes, new genus, pacificus from Oregon, and Phloeocharis californica from California. The biology of the two species is briefly discussed. A key to the Nearctic genera of Phloeocharinae is given.
