Extract

As a result of my description of Tanaops testaceus several years ago (1), a friend of mine, Mr. J. W. Green, of Easton, Penn., has sent me a good series of a species in the same genus, from New Mexico. These specimens apparently represent an undescribed species, which I would like to make known at the present time. So far as I am able to determine, no species of this genus has been heretofore reported from New Mexico.
