• No page charges for authors: The Journal does not charge authors on a per-page basis for submissions;

• Free colour: No charge for use of colour in either the hard copy or the online publication of TCE;

• Marketing support: Cambridge University Press will support authors where appropriate with media / PR activities and promote via blog posts published on the Cambridge Core Blog and social media;

• Lenient copyright requirements – TCE's author publishing agreements are some of the most lenient in the industry, allowing authors to retain copyright as well as many non-transferable rights regarding their re-use of the article. Please refer TCE's author publishing agreement options here.

• Gold Open Access option available – TCE is a ‘hybrid journal’ providing authors, upon acceptance of their article, the option to pay an Article Processing Charge for Gold Open Access publication. In addition TCE is already compliant with all ‘Green Open Access’ stipulations, as per SHERPA/RoMEO.
