THE GENUS CENTAUREA (ASTERACEAE, CARDUEAE) IN IRAN: TWO NEW SPECIES AND A LECTOTYPIFICATION

Abstract
Two new species of Centaurea sect. Cynaroides (Asteraceae) from western Iran, C. shehbazii Ranjbar & Negaresh and C. solitaria Ranjbar & Negaresh, are described. In addition, Centaurea aziziana is typified.
