Bowen–Franks groups as an invariant for flow equivalence of subshifts

Abstract

It will be proved that some topological conjugacy invariants, called K-groups and Bowen–Franks groups, for subshifts are invariants for flow equivalence by an argument of symbolic dynamical systems. Some examples of non-sofic subshifts that are not flow equivalent will be presented.
