According to the analysis of the Internet audience Ukraine in March 2012 Internet access was 48% of the population of Ukraine aged 16 years and older (15 million. Ukrainian).

Number of Internet subscribers in 2013 compared to 2012 increased by 30% and amounted to 4.64 million. Persons.

According to statistics, in 2012 the distribution of Internet users by age group was as follows: 14-24 years – 36%,25-34 years -29%, 35-44years – 19% 45-54years – 12% over 55years – 4%. That is why to determine the dependence of Internet addiction in this study was selected students.

The purpose of this study was to examine the personality characteristics of Internet-dependent students

Methods

test for detection of Internet addiction K. Young, a method of determining the level of anxiety (Spielberg Hanina) questionnaire oneself (V.V. Stolina, SR Panteleyev), evaluation of communicative V.F. Ryahovskoho.

Materials

The sample was 158 people, of which the results methods Kimberly Young Internet-dependent turned 14 students.

Results

Internet-addicted students have the following personal characteristics: a high level of anxiety expressed the need for communication, low self-esteem, low self-esteem, low self-understanding, lack of faith in our strength and ability, a high rate of self-incrimination, the expectation of the negative attitude of others, lack of confidence, low curiosity.
