I. Methods of Application and Types of Boron Fertilizer

Summary

Four methods of applying boron to the oil palm were studied and the results indicated that applications to the soil or to leaf axils were best. Tests of five sources of boron showed that alkaline borate fertilizers were superior to boric acid.
