The WHO has recently made 17 neglected tropical diseases their priority, see ‘Ending the neglect to attain the Sustainable Development Goals A road map for neglected tropical diseases 2021–2030’ (WHO);  to highlight this occasion and also tropical diseases of medical importance this special edition invites submissions covering reviews on tropical diseases and parasites and recent developments in the field covering aspects such as drug and vaccine development although this is not exhaustive. We invite submissions to this Special Collection on Tropical Diseases via the Editorial Manager. You may want to discuss the suitability of your proposed reviews with one of our Special Collection Editors (see below).
