Serbian Government Annulment of Municipal Election Draws International Censure: OSCE Mission Confirms Violation of Electoral Rights

The EU has noted that a significant number of the local election results in urban centers [of the Former Republic of Yugoslavia] have been set aside and will be re-run in a third round of voting. The EU has also noted opposition allegations of irregularities in the conduct of the elections in a number of municipalities and particularly in the town of Nis.
