On Camerina petri M. G. Rutten and Nummulites striatoreticulatus L. Rutten

Published online by Cambridge University Press:  01 May 2009

Extract

During recent work on a collection of Camerinidae from Mexico the species recently described by M. G. Rutten, from Cuba, were considered in some detail, since Cuban and Mexican foraminiferal faunas show close affinities. No Cuban species of Camerina or Operculina were found in the Mexican Tertiary material, but some interesting points were discovered regarding Camerina petri Rutten.
