Metamorphic Segregation Structures from Rosguill, Eire

Abstract

Rafts of semipelitic rock, included within a granitic body, contain segregations of microcline, biotite, cordierite and sillimanite. These structures appear to have resulted from a process of localized metasomatic rearrangement.
