This essay presents the analysis, approach and understanding of the underlying reasons why females join the “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” (ISIS), accept its rules and impositions, play an active role in it, and often actively recruit other women to join ISIS as perceived by an experienced and savvy communications expert and professional who also took active part in anti-terrorism campaigns in Pakistan. Previously he was a journalist who gained a deep understanding of the political and policy-making dynamics in his country. Especially valuable is the section on the “Way Forward”; that is, how to effectively tackle the recruitment campaign and methodology of ISIS.

Este ensayo presenta el análisis, el enfoque y la comprensión de las razones subyacentes por las cuales las mujeres se unen a ISIS; aceptan sus reglas e imposiciones; jugan un papel activo en eso; y, a menudo, reclutan activamente a otras mujeres para que se unan al ISIS tal como las percibe el autor, un experto en comunicaciones que también participó activamente en campañas antiterroristas en Pakistán. Anteriormente, el fue un periodista que obtuvo un profundo conocimiento de la dinámica política y de formulación de políticas en su país. Cet article présente l’analyse, l’approche et la compréhension des raisons sous-jacentes pour lesquelles les femmes rejoignent ISIS; acceptent ses règles et ses impositions; y jouent un rôle actif; et recrutent souvent activement d’autres femmes pour rejoindre ISIS tel que le perçoit l’auteur, un expert professionnel de la communication expérimenté et avisé qui a également participé activement à des campagnes antiterroristes au Pakistan. Auparavant, il était un journaliste qui a acquis une profonde compréhension de la dynamique politique dans son pays. La section sur la «Voie de l’avenir» est particulièrement utile, c’est-à-dire comment aborder efficacement la campagne de recrutement et la méthodologie d’ISIS.
