[The text of the convention is annexed to U.N. General Assembly Resolution 2826 (XXVI) of December 16, 1971, and appears at I.L.M. page 310. General Assembly Resolution 2826 (XXVI) was adopted by a vote of 110 in favor, none against, with one abstention. The recorded vote appears at I.L.M. page 315.

[As of March 1, 1972, the convention had not yet been opened for signature. Earlier drafts of the convention appear at 10 I.L.M. 630 (1971) and 10 I.L.M. 1177 (1971). U.N. General Assembly Resolutions 2827 A and B of December 16, 1971, concerning questions of chemical and bacteriological weapons, appear at I.L.M. page 418.]
