EDITOR BIOGRAPHY

Lisa Martin is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She has previously taught at Harvard University and the University of California, San Diego.  Her research interests include international institutions and organizations and the geography of international political economy. She has published numerous articles and books, including Coercive Cooperation: Explaining Multilateral Economic Sanctions (Princeton), Democratic Commitments: Legislatures and International Cooperation (Princeton), and the  Oxford Handbook of the Politics of International Trade (Oxford). She was editor-in-chief of International Organization from 2001-2006.
