A Technique for Staining and Counting Syphacia obvelata in the Faeces and Ingesta of Mice

A method is described for the recovery of Oxyurid nematodes from faeces and ingesta of mice, by washing and sieving after the worms have been stained with iodine. It can be performed in one quarter of the time and is more efficient and less fatiguing than the method previously employed.
