1 (P. 54): I would no longer defend my equation in Oriental. vii, 56 : Sukurlamgi = Lamek, because the assumed pronunciation of the former is at least doubtful: but the fact that -gi contains the genitive suffix would make no difficulty. It would be regular for the intermediate Akkad. of e.g. “ man of Sukurlam” to preserve this (-lamakku).
