4 Some of recordings that explore the lesser known works of Revueltas are conductor Enrique Diemecke's Sensemayá: The Unknown Revueltas (Dorian Recordings CD DOR-90244, 1996), which includes the original version of Sensemayá; Silvestre Revueltas: Música de excepción, which includes premiere recordings of little-known or previously unidentified chamber works (BMG CDC 743218228728, 2000); conductor José Luis Castillo's Silvestre Revueltas: Obra orquestal inédita, with the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato, which contains the first recording of Esquinas (Corners) in its two versions (1931 and 1933), as well as a reconstruction of Revueltas's concert version of the music for Paul Strand's film The Wave (Quindecim QP 123, 2004); and most recently, Román Revueltas conducting the Aguascalientes Orchestra in a recording that includes the first complete version of Música para charlar (Chit-Chat Music), a film score previously known only in the form of several suite compilations attributed to Erich Kleiber and others, as well as Itinerarios (Itineraries), also for the first time in a version faithful to the original manuscript (ICA/CNCA, 2010).
