Abstract

This article by Blair Kauffman, the Director, and Mary Jane Kelsey, the Associate Director, of Yale's Lillian Goldman Law Library offers a brief overview of the direction being taken by one of America's better-known research libraries. The library has staked out a leading position in its innovative use of technologies while continuing its commitment to building and preserving collections in all of the formats demanded by its diverse clientele.
