In the 1986 publication of the British excavations at Sabratha, a photograph was inadvertently included of a grave with faked burial goods: an explanation of this is now given. The posthumous volume by John Ward-Perkins on the Severan buildings at Lepcis Magna appeared to refer to a drawing of marble veneer decoration which was not found at the time: this has now been located, and has drawn attention to a surprising solution to an architectural problem.
