Abstract

The reaction of CC12F2 (CFC 12) has been studied on a γ- A12O3 catalyst with and,withoutH2 and with H2 on a Pt/γ-A12O3 catalyst containing 0.5, 2 and 5 wt % of Pt at a temperature of 300°C. The extent of conversion, was shown to be highly dependent both on the metal coverage; and on the temperature.
