Abstract

A study of hydrogen cycling-induced phase segregation in AB5-type intermetallics is presented. Influence of temperature for the alloy compositions Yni4AI, LaNi5, Ce0.5La0.5Ni5 and Ce0.7La0.3Ni5 is shown. Morphology of the nanostructured particles formed is studied and discussed.
