L'articolo presenta i risultati di nuove ricognizioni geofisiche nell'area esterna, immediatamente a nord del circuito murario di Falerii Novi. I risultati, integrati con recenti pubblicazioni su evidenze da fotografia aerea, chiariscono ulteriormente la sequenza dello sviluppo della città dalla sua fondazione nel 241 a.C. al periodo imperiale. Essi rivelano nuovi dettagli delle necropoli e deH'anfiteatro, e pongono importanti questioni circa l'assegnazione dei terreni nelle vicinanze della città.
