On a new nematode Spirocaudata bispiculatum gen.nov. sp.nov. (Ancyracanthidae) from the kœl, Eudynamys scolopacea

Extract

Three male and four female parasites were recovered from the gizzard of a koel, Eudynamys scolopacea Linnaeus (Cuculiformes). In all, about forty birds were examined and only one was found infected. The present account is based on a study of three male and three female specimens, one female specimen being slightly damaged.
