This list may be incomplete; it contains only those schools which replied to our letter in time for our deadline. A remarkable development in the 1954 summer schedule is the number (25) of workshops in the teaching of foreign languages in elementary schools. Regular programs listed above which include such workshops are at U of Colorado, Laval U, Louisiana State U, Macalester C, U of Maine, U of Michigan, Middlebury C, U of Minnesota, New Mexico Western C, Occidental C. Southern Illinois U, U of Virginia, Washington U, Western Reserve U, and U of Wisconsin. Other institutions which did not return data for the above listing but which are known to have elementary school workshops planned are U of Buffalo, Hope C, Illinois State Normal U, State U of Iowa, Kansas State TC at Emporia, U of Kansas, New Jersey State TC at Montclair, New Mexico A&M C, New York State TC at Buffalo, Rosary C (Ill.), and Syracuse U.
