Special Edition: to honour the mathematical legacy of Professor Andrew Ranicki FRSE (1948-2018) and his many years of service to the journal, Proceedings A is soliciting quality research and expository papers in fields broadly related to his work, including: the topology of manifolds, algebraic K- and L-theory, surgery theory (algebraic and geometric) and knot theory.
