Submicron Particles in Meteor Streams
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 14 August 2015
Extract
Submicron particles (mass<10−15g) were observed in certain meteor streams by impact detectors on satellite Explorer 46. This unexpected finding leads to conclusions about the nature and origin of the particles and about the importance of nongravitational forces.
