Flute-feed Applicator for Granular Herbicides

Abstract

A grass seed attachment to a grain drill was modified to apply granular herbicides using positive metering mechanism. Uniformity of granule output was adjusted within ± 4% maximum error. Speed of travel did not appreciably affect the amount of granules applied per acre.
