The 2016 HPL Editor-in-Chief Choice Award was given to the article entitled:

Measuring vacuum polarization with high-power lasers by Dr B. King and Dr T. Heinzl, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Plymouth University

They will be awarded a certificate and a bonus of ¥10,000 (≈￡1,075).

About the Editor-in-Chief Choice Award

Each year a panel of experts, including the Editors-in-Chief of the 3 English journals published by Chinese Laser Press (High Power Laser Science and Engineering, Chinese Optics Letters, and Photonics Research) evaluates the papers published in CLP journals and selects the Editor-in-Chief Choice Award winner. The papers are evaluated based on the quality, downloads, citations and the importance of the work to the field.
